The Magic Carpet supports many projects in India that focus on nutrition, education and healthcare services, free of cost, for rural, underserved children, mothers and families. These initiatives, based on the philosophy “Love All, Serve All,” have led to remarkable achievements including:
26 free educational campuses that serve 5,000 rural children. These students are being taught not only a traditional academic curriculum, but also a spiritual one based on Self Inquiry, which inspires them to develop both purpose and passion.
Over a million students in government schools are provided with breakfast for the first time in their lives.
Free super-specialty hospitals that help serve the 250,000 babies born with congenital heart disease, as well as ten mother-child hospitals to assist with health and nutritional education.
We are also honored to be able to support, locally, Hospitality House, Interfaith Food Ministry, and Sierra Harvest.
