Our Last Event

Dear Oriental Rug Lovers,

Please join Paul and Eileen Jorgensen on Saturday, May 7th at 7PM for the opening of our newest exhibit, "Timeless Beauty in a Changing World". In celebration of our 31st Anniversary, we invite you to join us as we peruse a magnificent collection of over 50 rugs, from timeless antiques to contemporary collectibles which are from several Cultural Survival projects. This exhibit will highlight rugs that are renowned for their vegetable dyes, durability, cultural significance and beauty. They literally shine with the soul of the people who wove them.

We are proud to be partnering with the high-minded Barakat Projects who are weaving some of the finest Oriental rugs in the world while responding to the ongoing needs of the rug weaving communities of Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. Barakat has founded 7 schools offering free quality education as well as 31 home-based literacy programs for woman. While also providing health care programs for woman and children, they have been collaborating with Village Forward, a very needed water purification project.

In celebration and appreciation of our 31 successful years in business, we will be having two drawings for old rug pillows – but you must be present to win.
