Barakat is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for various ethnic
groups associated with carpet weaving in South Asia, including refugees from
Afghanistan living in Pakistan, newly established communities in Afghanistan,
and citizens living in India.
Cultural Survival promotes the rights, voices, and visions of indigenous peoples.
Machik is a non-governmental, non-profit organization whose mission
is to support innovative strategies that promote the sustainable
development and strengthening of local communities in the Himalayan
region and neighboring areas.
